This past Saturday, my mother invited some of her friends and family to celebrate Chuck's birthday and (sort of) my return from Japan. She laboriously worked to make homemade dough for 9 pizzas (yes NINE). To Rich's amazement (he wanted to buy pre-made dough), the effort was well worth it, b/c we had some of the best pizzas ever (nice soft crust). As my mom's friends arrived, they ventured into the kitchen and picked toppings and created pizzas (some a bit scary with odd combos). Wine, hummus, salad, snacky things, and lemon chiffon cake topped of the party spread. We had lots of fun and it was the first time Rich got to meet some of my family and my mom's amusing friends.
