You are looking at my mom's bamboo. She lives in Oklahoma and got hit hard in the ice storm. Typically this bamboo sticks straight up and has an appearance of a mini bamboo forest. The ice just weighed it down. I can't believe it! Everyone in my family is in Oklahoma and they are all doing OK. My sister lost her power the first day, but it was restored by the evening. Other than that, no problems. In fact my mom said that the roads weren't bad at all. It's just the vegetation and utility lines that has taken a toll. Everything outside is just burdened by the weight of the ice.Wednesday, December 12, 2007
