Transition

We are definitely in transition ........ maybe a holding pattern would describe it better. This weekend we are out of our current residence and Beckley isn't ready yet. So we are in flux. Our stuff is in storage and I believe we will be living in a travel trailer in the driveway at Beckley. Had an offer to stay at the Oswald house. The boarding house that Lee Harvey Oswald was staying at when he shot Kennedy is four houses down from us on Beckley. Pat, the owner offered us a room, however we really need our own space and a place where we can keep Numa. Our landlords (for one more day only) have offered to loan us their trailer. The kicker is that we are out today and the trailer probably won't arrive until tomorrow. So we need to crash somewhere tonight. Things have progressed at Beckley. We have a ceiling and there is texture on most of the walls. We got a new front door. Our hold up is electricity and plumbing. I swear the construction industry is full of shiesty fools. Once we get those two things completed, it will be a mad downhill sprint to complete everything. I guess this house is our current adventure. Will try to post again soon. Currently posting from Buzzbrew, one of the oishi brunch joints in Dallas. Using their Wi-Fi since we don't have it right now. OK, I leave you with a photo of the big sculpture outside the Modern Museum in Ft. Worth. Spent a Sunday taking a break from the house capades to go to the museums.
