I'm so excited! We just booked a trip to Malaysia for April 23-May 2. We fly into Kuala Lumpur. We will probably spend a day or two there and check out the Petronas Towers, Batu Caves, and other yet to be determined sites. Then we are off to the beach. We are trying to finalize our beach destination and are swaying to a small island called Tioman Island. It's a volcanic island set in the south China Sea. We just want to chill, snorkel, maybe take a dive class. Tioman looks like it's not overrun with expensive fancy resorts. I like the low key vibe. Have you been to Malaysia? Any recommendations for KL or beaches? Happy to hear your suggestions.
